IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognized University
  • The lower and upper age limit for applying is 20 years and 30 years as on 01 July 2016. The upper age limit shall be relaxed to a certain limit for the reserve category applicants.

Interview Process

The last stage in the selection process is Personal Interview in which candidate is required to appear before the Interview Panel. It is basically conducted to judge the general knowledge and the attitude of the candidates. The panel intends to judge the judge the suitability of the candidate in conformance to the banking environment. The interviews are held at selected Centres. It is conducted by Participating bank and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS.
