IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2016 – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the IBPS RRB examination every year under the common recruitment process for the Regional Rural Banks in various states all over the country. Last year, a total of 56 Regional Rural Banks participated in the recruitment process for the recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale – I, II and III) and Group “B” – Office Assistant (Multipurpose). It provides employment opportunities to the large number of candidates residing in the rural and sub-urban areas. Aspirants will have to appear in the online examination which is held across the country at various examination centers set up by the IBPS for conducting the examination. Aspirants must have through understanding of the IBPS RRB Exam Pattern which includes the name of the tests, mode of the exam, medium of the exam, maximum marks, and number of questions and so on.

Salient features of the IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2016

  • The exam is held in online mode only
  • The examination is objective in nature. Questions have multiple options out of which one option is to be marked by the candidates using the mouse
  • Candidates have to complete the exam in a stipulated time duration after which the online exam window will close itself
  • The exam-pattern is different for Scale – I, II and III and Office Assistant posts
  • Candidates applying for any of the above posts must prepare accordingly
  • The exam will be segregated into certain number of parts or sections which would have a certain number of questions. Candidates have to attempt the complete exam in the specified time duration
  • There will be negative marking for the wrong answers

 Important Points for the Aspirants

  • It is essential to qualify each of the tests for the respective posts
  • Candidates will have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each of the test as well as the aggregate score to pass the exam
  • All those candidates who will qualify the online exam will be eligible to appear in the Common Interview to be conducted at the later stage.
